Bio

Having played competitive sports from youth through the collegiate level, I have always had an affinity for physiology and the capabilities of the human body. My years spent powerlifting have made the benefits of proper strength training even more evident. Coming out of education from Palmer College of Chiropractic, I had the opportunity to teach Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition & Fitness, and Chemistry. During this time, I also gained many years of experience coaching football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. Personal training combines these three elements - athlete, teacher, and coach. Since 2015, I have been assisting people in reaching their fitness goals as a master trainer at a corporate gym. Having trained clients from age 6 to 91, I am adept at meeting people where they are at by appropriately programming individualized and specific workouts. Successful clientele has included competitive powerlifters and athletes as well as candidates for military and first responder physical tests. Mostly, however, those I work with are simply striving to be the healthiest they can be, overcoming obstacles such as: osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, herniated discs, degenerative disc and joint disease, spinal fusions, joint replacements, hernias, fibromyalgia, cardiovascular disease, diabetes (type I and II), obesity, depression, anxiety, and more. As a native Phoenician, my own training is currently aimed at supporting an active lifestyle enjoying the various outdoor activities this state has to offer with my wife, five children, and two dogs. We enjoy all sports, hiking, mountain biking, water and snow activities, and having a friendly competition at any given opportunity.
